Combined ages of the members may not exceed 100 (no individual member may exceed 28 years of age) - birth date of January 1, 1983 or later.

First Prize - $1000 Cash Prize, donated by the International Trombone Association

Additional Rules

  • Members of past winning quartets are not eligible to participate in the 2012 ITA Trombone Quartet Competition.
  • No quartet personnel changes for the final competition round are permitted under any circumstances. If a finalist group is unable to be present at the ITF, an alternate group may be selected. Presentation of a valid photo ID will be required of each performer immediately prior to the final competition in Paris, France.
  • Sound files must be labeled as follows:
    Q_Bozza_1_Your ITA ID. No.
    Q_Bozza_2_Your ITA ID. No.
    Q_Bozza_3_Your ITA ID. No.
    Q_Traditional_Your ITA ID. No.
    Example: Q_Bozza_1_1234 (Always use underscore_ instead of space)
