Run a Local Event

We encourage you to promote the world's finest instrument by organizing a trombone-related event in your area.

Consider a formal solo recital or an impromptu public appearance by an ensemble that includes the trombone. Be positive, professional, and imaginative. See what you can create. Consider performing something you already know as well as music created especially for ITW, such as the music generously composed and shared by Brad Edwards, Nick Adams and David Caldwell).

This site provides plenty of PR support so you can create some local "buzz" for your event and still have time to focus on creating a buzz on your mouthpiece, too.

See the resources to the right. The links under "Support for your Event" include sample wording for your local newspaper and the ITW logo which is suitable for your posters, programs, and more.

Don't forget to send an email message to itw@trombone.net to request ITW case stickers for your performers - and yourself. It's a great way to create some "buzz" before the event and say thank you.
